Chalcopyrite is a copper iron sulphide mineral and is one of the principal ores of copper. Chalcopyrite is often confused with pyrite although the latter has system. Further Chalcopyrite is more often massive and less brittle. Chalcopyrite is also a darker yellow in colour.
It is an excellent stone to use for meditation as it helps to achieve and maintain a state of no mind. It enhances inner knowing, strengthens perception and helps you trust what you see psychically. It is also a protective stone, good for many kinds of protection, including protection from illness.
