Eucalyptus Essential Oil 10ml

Origin: There are about 300 varieties of Eucalyptus. Most of the essential oil originates in Australia in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales which are so called because of the extraordinary blue haze that exudes from the resin of the eucalyptus gum and envelopes the entire landscape. It is not difficult to see how in such an aromatic environment, the qualities of this ancient and noble tree would be difficult to over-look.

Eucalyptus oil is grown on a beautiful, tall, evergreen tree which grows up to 90 metres high. The young tree has bluish-green oval leaves, while the mature tree develops long, narrow, yellowish leaves, creamy-white flowers and a smooth, pale grey bark often covered in a white powder. The oil is steam distilled from the fresh or partially dried leaves and young twigs.

Eucalyptus is a warming oil which is reputed to reduce the discomfort caused by many conditions such as fibrositis, rheumatism and arthritis.  It is renowned for its antiseptic properties, but is best known as an excellent decongestant inhalation for coughs and colds.  It can help with the treatment of burns, blisters and skin infections, together with some relief for shingles when applied as a diluted massage oil.

How to Use Product:

Dilute in a carrier oil of your choice - maximum 10%.

Apply to the appropriate area of the skin as directed.

Add a few drops of water and use in a burner.

Add a few drops to bath water.

General: Eucalyptus aromatherapy essential oil is a good oil for repelling mosquitoes or other insects. A few drops of the Eucalyptus aromatherapy essential oil added to your pet shampoo will remove fleas; if you get tar on your clothes Eucalyptus aromatherapy essential oil is a good and harmless way of removing it.
