Obsidian Black Moon Goddess Engraved Charging Disc 55mm

✨Obsidian Black Moon Goddess Engraved Charging Disc 55mm✨

The Meaning & History of Obsidian:

Obsidian is a naturally occurring volcanic glass formed as an extrusive igneous rock. It is produced when felsic lava extruded from a volcano cools rapidly without crystal growth. Pure obsidian is usually dark in appearance though the colour varies depending on the presence of impurities. Iron and magnesium typically give the obsidian a dark green to brown to black colour. Traces of obsidian being used as weapon/tools date as far back as 7,000 years ago. Obsidian was highly valued in the ancient world for arrowheads and blades.
Obsidian is truth-enhancing. A strongly protective stone, it forms a shield against negativity. It blocks psychic attack and absorbs negative energies from the environment. Obsidian draws out mental stress and tension. It stimulates growth on all levels, urging exploration of the unknown and opening new horizons. Brings clarity to the mind and clears confusion. Helps you to know who you truly are. Obsidian dissolves emotional blockages and ancient traumas. Promotes qualities of compassion and strength.
Black obsidian will help to clean and remove negative energies in a sacred space or environment. It also assists in releasing those emotions reactions that cause negative energy such as anger, jealousy, greed, resentment.

A beautiful 55mm Black Obsidian Charging Disc, engraved with the Triple Moon Goddess symbol. This striking piece combines the natural beauty of Black Obsidian with powerful lunar symbolism, making it a wonderful addition to a crystal collection, altar, meditation space or spiritual gift range.

What Does the Triple Moon Symbol Mean?

The Triple Moon represents the three main phases of the Moon:

Waxing Moon: The Maiden: New beginnings, growth, potential and fresh intentions.
Full Moon: The Mother: Fulfilment, abundance, creativity, strength and manifestation.
Waning Moon :The Crone: Wisdom, reflection, release, transformation and letting go.

Together, the three moons represent the natural cycles of life, change and renewal. In modern Pagan and Wiccan traditions, the Triple Moon is also associated with the Maiden, Mother and Crone, three aspects of the Goddess.
